My name is Dudley Ormston Zinke
When I was born again by the grace of Jesus Christ, God gave me the spiritual name, John, and I am known among the brethren as Brother John. My formal name is AM Brother John.
At nineteen years of age, in late July 1971, I heard the gospel of Christ preached by a man of God. I believed, repented of my sins, confessed Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and committed my life to following the Holy Bible.
A few days later, I was baptized in a creek. In those waters, I was born again and saved. Immediately afterward, as the man of God prayed over me, I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
I left college to follow this calling and was taught by that man of God.
For years I traveled and learned under anointed leaders and holy prophets of God, serving as a witness for Christ.
Along the way, I worked various jobs to support myself while continuing in ministry.
The Lord God Almighty came to us teaching us His laws and ways and He sent us in His name across the country the three of us as a church. In 1977, the Lord sent three of us as a small church body to St. Louis, Missouri, where I have served ever since.
We were invited to speak on a local radio program and eventually hosted a gospel broadcast on WGNU for more than twenty years.
For nearly fifty years, I have been writing spiritual poems and teachings.
Especially during the past fifteen years, the Lord has given me a steady flow of inspired writings in the style of Psalms and Proverbs.
These writings are gifts of His grace, born from decades of walking with Him, observing life, and receiving insight and wisdom through both trials and blessings.
My deepest desire is that these writings bless, teach, encourage, and draw people closer to the heart of God through Christ.
